About Me
I am a HCPC‑registered Dietitian with over a decade of clinical experience. I have been practising as a registered dietitian since 2012 and specialised in Gastroenterology in 2015, working with adults with a wide range of digestive and complex medical conditions.
I decided I wanted to be a Dietitian aged 15 after it was suggested to me in a school Job Quiz; I read the definition of what they do and I had an immediate sense that this was for me. Luckily, 20 years on I have never regretted my teenage decision. Early on in my career I loved gastroenterology and the feeling of giving advice that helps people improve the symptoms that can come to dominate their lives. The science is advancing rapidly which makes it an exciting area to work in.
I currently work part-time in a Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian NHS role as well as running my Freelance practice.
In my spare time I enjoy running and swimming, and ideally followed by a latte in a nice coffee shop! I also volunteer at my local outdoor swimming pool in Overton as a First Aider.
