  • No referral is required to book a private dietetic appointment. Many people self‑refer, while others are referred by a GP or consultant. If you have relevant medical information or test results, uploading this to the client portal before your session can be helpful.

  • No, I will send a diet information questionnaire to you after I have confirmed your appointment with me which will ask you for 3 examples for each meal and snack time; this is sufficient prior to the session.

  • Food intolerance and gut symptoms are complex because there can be several causes for very similar symptoms. The testing that is sold online, such as blood or hair testing, is not evidence-based so I would advise against it. If you have had these tests and are following any dietary restrictions I would be happy to work with you regarding which restrictions you may be benefitting from and which you are not.

  • It is £120 for an initial assessment, this will last around 45 minutes and a full report will be sent to you after the session for your records.
If you need any resources/leaflets these will also be included.

  • Yes you can. I accept Aviva, Axa, Bupa, Cigna, Healix, Vitality and WPA insurance.

Please check with your insurer that they will cover you before booking.

  • This is a common question that dietitians get asked. We generally do not write meal plans, we work with you to build on your existing routines and preferences. We offer advice and guidance on making changes that work for you rather than changing your whole diet.

  • You can reach me anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
